O ciclo se repete em Fortaleza, após o anúncio da Fifa que o Castelão irá receber jogos da seleção brasileira, a especulação imobiliária tomou contra da cidade, na qual terrenos e imóveis tiveram uma alta generalizada. Terrenos hoje baldios deverão receber conjuntos residenciais, as obras viárias infra-estruturais do entorno do estádio devem causar uma explosão de preços ainda maior. Segundo dados do Conselho Regional de Corretores de Imóveis do Ceará os imóveis tiveram um acréscimo de 25% e que para o próximo período devem aumentar muito mais.

Tanto em Fortaleza como no Rio de Janeiro, ou em qualquer outra cidade brasileira que abrigará jogos da Copa, os principais atingidos pela bolha especulativa serão os trabalhadores de baixa renda familiar. Para ilustrar esta situação temos a construção do “Fielzão” no bairro de Itaquera na capital paulista anunciado como palco da abertura da Copa do Mundo. Os governos federal, estadual e municipal estabeleceram desde o início uma política segregadora que prioriza os bilionários negócios de poucos grupos privados com isenções fiscais e fundos creditícios oriundos do BNDES. As famílias pobres que há anos vivem nas proximidades do estádio sofrem cotidianamente com o pesadelo do despejo. As obras viárias causarão impacto sobre 16 favelas em razão do alargamento de avenidas, construção de vias, estacionamentos, shoppings centeres etc. Inúmeras famílias serão despejadas de um raio de quilômetros em torno do estádio.

A Copa do Mundo, um megaevento capitalista organizado pela mafiosa Fifa, mostra a sua verdadeira face de classe: não só se apropriou da paixão popular pelo futebol como também atua tal qual um animal predador que devora os parcos recursos da classe operária e está exclusivamente voltada para a lógica da circulação de capital. Ela não trará nenhum beneficio para os explorados, uma vez que único objetivo das empresas é lucrar de qualquer forma, não existindo qualquer interesse social nas obras referentes à Copa. Há sim o viés de aprofundar a segregação social, com a remoção forçada a cassetetes e bombas de gás de famílias inteiras dentro das áreas circunscritas à bolha especulativa. A tônica dos capitalistas e governos de plantão é a mercantilização do espaço urbano. Para a população pobre está reservada a polícia (as UPPs) e a impossibilidade de adquirir a sua casa própria por causa dos preços proibitivos, que nem sequer poderá assistir aos jogos porque os valores dos ingressos serão absurdamente caros; para os capitalistas e especuladores, ao contrário, todo o incentivo combilhões de reais!
